About the Israel Idonije Foundation:
Programming for the Israel Idonije Foundation features the After School Program that services 45 youth Monday through Friday on Chicago's south side including homework help, mentorship, field trips and speakers, Project Africa, annual humanitarian trips to Western Africa to promote social and emotional learning through platforms of education, health and community development, The Shop With A Cop Program that encourages positive interaction between urban youth and law enforcement, the All Star Football and Cheer Camp, a free camp for 250+ youth to spend a day having fun and learning beneficial skills, and the IIF Youth Leaders Summer Internship Program which provides youth with summer learning, workforce skill development, and job shadowing in the field of their interest. To date, these programs served over 8,000 individuals.
