Summer has arrived! Warm city nights getting dinner by the lake, trips to the beach, picnics in the park, all the while needing the perfect footwear to keep up with your busy schedule. As the warm front comes we tuck away our boots and clunky shoes to opt for a whole new rotation of footwear: sandals. Sandals provide the perfect touch with breathable structure you will want to live in all summer long. So no matter where this summer takes you we have a pair of sandals to go with. If your looking for some inspiration, a new purchase, or just admiring the beauty of great shoes, this is the place for you. This season was nothing short of stunning and diverse with everything from a minimalist naked sandal to statement worthy heels. Time to hit the ground running!

Light Weight Straps

if you need any sandal this summer you need this one, or something like it. Lightweight, flat, little straps in a neutral hue that you can pair with almost anything anywhere. It’s a go to and serves its purpose perfectly.

Leather Sandals

Going into the office? A bite to eat with the girls? These sandals are a chic step up from your throw on go-tos with an ever so slight heel. The leather truly adds an element of style to any look.

The Two Strapped

These are considered at least to some people an absolute classic and must have strapped sandal. From the Row this shoe is sleek, insanely comfortable, and even gives you a little height with its platform. If you’re looking to invest in what is sure to become one of your personal classics this shoe is worth every penny.

Give yourself a few inches for the night! These high platform heels re-emerged in 2022 to give you the height and the style you crave! They come in so many fun colors/designs and add such a pop to any outfit.

I’m not sure about everyone else but what always comes to mind when I think of great summer sandals is a wooded wedge like this one from Vince Camuto. It reminds me of every tropical vacation and whenever I wear a pair I strut around like I’m on one. The woven details add to the welcoming summer feel and go great with any neutral/warm tones in an outfit.

Puffy Sandals

The weather may have gotten warmer but the puffy aesthetic we have been seeing has carried through from the depths of winter and manifested in the form of an adorable sandal for summer. I’ve been seeing renditions of these everywhere, the chunky braided straps add an eye-catching touch to your footwear and are sure to impress.

Sporty Sandal

It took me a long time to come around to the sporty sandal trend. Practical yes, but stylish? I wasn’t sure. Until I got my first pair this year and can’t stop wearing them. I usually pair them with some oversized jeans and a casual top but depending on the style you can wear them with a multitude of looks. The support and stability they provide is unmatched so if you have anywhere you think you might get your steps in - these are the clear choice.

The Birken

Ah yes loyal trusty Birkenstock how could we ever forget you. Well don’t worry we haven’t, these leather slides have been a classic for years and for a good reason. They are so comfortable and form fitting to your soul - you will wonder where they have been your whole life. I personally am more of a fan of the styles that look dressed up, like these brown leather ones here. But you ultimately cannot go wrong with these shoes.

Knotted Slides

Similar to our puffy slides but a little more cushy and comfortable I present to you, knotted slides. They come in many different colorful patterns and are sure to catch some eyes while you are out and about. I absolutely love this style of sandal and expect to see it all summer long!
